Review - Dominic by L.A. Casey

Hi sweeties!!! I’m a huge fan of bad boys and in L.A. Casey’s Slater Brothers series I have a lot of those. One of the many reasons why I love these books, is the absolutely amazing and flawless way that L.A. build characters who have their perfect imperfections which only made us love them more. Are you curious about my impressions with Dominic?? Take a look!
The story begins with the routine of a 17 years old girls called Bronagh Murphy. Not only at school, but also in her life, Bronagh is the perfect example of a invisible girl. No friends. No boyfriends. Nobody. After her parents died in a car accident when she was just a child, she decided not to let people get close to her. If you don't care about people, you won't get hurt when life take them from you. The only person she loves and trust is her sister Branna, her legal guardian since their parents died. It was really hard for her to let people get close to them.
"...I don't know if I like sharin' you and being social, and that makes me a horrible sister and a loser."
Her life turns upside down when the most beautiful twins ever started to study with her. They've already meet fighting. The twin with white blond hair it's called Damien and it's nice, but his dark-haired brother Dominic it's an idiot. After he meet her, his mission in life became make her life a living hell just to get her attention. They fight all the time, and Bronagh's life which was based on being invisible turns into a big mess, calling the shots inside and out school.
"You both used foul, disgustin' language and disrupted my class, get out into the hall and stay there until class is over, and I am ready to speak to you both!"
The thing I like about L.A. Casey is that she create characters so well, they act convincingly and with a very distinctive voice. Her write it’s humorous and touching, intense and fresh, deep and soft all at the same time. She takes things that should be unlikable in her characters and somehow make them seem attractive. Let's take Dominic for example, he's selfish, rude, annoying and most of the time a pain in the ass, but he is persistent, honest and passionate, and that makes him appealing. He's also smokin' hot and that cannot be a bad thing.
He nodded and lazily smiled again.
God, he was so gorgeous.
Another thing I loved about Dominic, is the humor. During all the book we have the most hilarious dialogues. Bronagh and Dominic are both sarcastic and have smart mouths. I'm a geology student, and in the book there is a quote envolving a diamond, and God I laughed so hard when I read this that tear fell down my cheek. For those of you who don't know, diamond is the mineral with the highest hardness existent.
He only grinned at me. "Like I care, you being jealous and possessive of me has me hard as diamond. I fucking love this side of you."
And in the middle of so many sarcasm, when you least expect Dominic disarms you by saying the most lovely things ever! Dominic made me want a boyfriend who lives me, just the strong ones will understand this <3
"I more than like you but don't feel near love yet, so I put the word love and like together and got live so I live you. I'm in live with you, pretty girl."
I really cannot say much about what happens next, cause I hate spoilers, I want all of you to have the beautiful surprises and find things by yourself while reading, but ghosts from Dominic's past come to the present and cause troubles. This troubles plus the changes going on inside Bronagh assure us a story full of passion, fights, jealous, blood and tension. I love my readers so I'll give to all of you a warning, the last fifty pages of this book are frenetic, read while you sit, because if you read it staying stand, you'll fall. There is some serious business going on and the end it's flawless. I'm definitely looking foward to reading the other books from this series because Slater family it's adorable in their own tuff tattooed bad boy way. I classify Dominic with five owls, which means I loved this book!

Before I leave sweeties, I wanna say a huge thank you for L.A. Casey for sending us Dominic for review. She is one of the most adorable partners that we have and we're looking foward to make this partnership lasts for a really long time! <3 That's all folks!
